Merry Christmas and a happy new year

Now that we have entered December and begun preparing for Christmas, we
would like to send all our members a Christmas and New Year’s greeting.

Samverk offers one of the best life insurance policies in the Faroe Islands. From
the 1st of January 2026, it will be even better.
We have increased all our insurance benefits.

For example, the Full-Time Accident Insurance will increase from DKK 600.000
DKK to 1.000.000 DKK.
The life insurance benefit in the event of death will increase from 825.000 DKK to
850.000 DKK for members up to and including the age of 45. For those older
than 45, the benefit will increase correspondingly.
Coverage for critical illness will increase from 220.000 DKK to 240.000 DKK.
The final payout will increase from 101.500 DKK to 103.022.50 DKK.
As a new benefit, Samverk has taken out a new insurance policy called “Dental
Damage.” This covers damage such as a broken tooth or filling caused while
chewing. The insurance covers treatment costs up to 10.000 DKK.

As another new benefit, all Samverk members who work five hours or more per
day will be entitled to a paid lunch break from the 1 of January 2026.

All Samverk members will receive a 3.87% wage increase from the 1st of May 2026.
