Accident Insurance - Full-Time Accident Coverage
Members of Samverk are covered by an accident insurance policy through the insurance company Trygd.

This accident insurance applies in the event that you are injured due to an accident. An accident is defined as a sudden and unforeseen event that causes bodily harm.

Compensation
To be eligible for compensation, the accident must have resulted in a permanent injury of at least 5%.
The insurance covers both physical and psychological injuries.

The insurance may also provide compensation for less severe injuries, such as damage to teeth or glasses, or for treatment by a physiotherapist in connection with an accident.

What Compensation Is Provided For
Below is an overview of what compensation may be granted in connection with an accident:

• Compensation for permanent disability of at least 5%
  • Compensation for dental injuries
  • Compensation for damage to glasses and contact lenses
  • Treatment and transportation expenses (e.g. physiotherapy and/or chiropractor)
  • Assistive devices
  • Psychological crisis support
  • Plastic surgery
  • Chewing-related injuries

The insurance amount for members of Samverk is 1.000.000 DKK in the case of 100% disability.
The insurance does not provide compensation in the event of death.

The accident insurance also covers chewing-related injuries. This means that if you bite into something and a tooth is damaged or broken, compensation will be provided for the resulting injury. A maximum of 10.000 DKK is payable per injury, and compensation may be granted for one such injury per year.

Other Information
The accident insurance is independent of other personal insurance policies. This means that if you hold other personal insurance, it does not affect your right to receive compensation from the accident insurance as a member of Samverk.
